EMDR Intensives Services

Unlike traditional weekly therapy, intensive sessions allow you to address one or more concerns in a concentrated period of time—often accelerating the healing process and helping you move forward more quickly. That said, there’s a reason it’s called an intensive—the work can be emotionally demanding, but the potential for deep healing is equally powerful.

Because this format isn’t the right fit for everyone, a thorough readiness assessment is included as part of a free phone consultation. In some cases, intensives are used to focus on very specific experiences, such as a single-incident traumatic event such as car accident. Afterward, clients may return to their regular weekly therapist to continue the work. If you're already working with a therapist, you're encouraged to speak with them about this option—I’m also happy to coordinate and collaborate as needed.

Benefits of EMDR Intensives

EMDR intensives offer the opportunity to experience meaningful progress in a matter of days—rather than months or even years. Because the work is highly focused and delivered in a condensed format, intensives can be a more cost-effective option in the long run. Given the concentrated nature of the intensive format, you may spend less overall and avoid the need to plan your life around weekly therapy appointments. If you're looking to heal from a specific event or tackle a particular issue that’s holding you back, an EMDR intensive may be an efficient and impactful path forward.

EMDR Intensive Services

One-day in-person intensives for either a half or full day or virtual 3-hour intensive sessions.

Fees:

  • $900 for a full day (6 hours)

  • $450 for a half day in person or virtual

The number of hours can be adjusted on an individual basis depending on the need of the client. Fees are adjusted accordingly.

A 50% deposit is due at the time of scheduling.
